I work with clients who live with intense emotions. Deep depression, constant anxiety, intense anger, and other clients—who want to avoid feeling all together. Emotions often drive my client's choices—how they choose to behave or speak (or bow out of engaging/speaking) depends on how they are feeling. This tends to create chaos and damage relationships. My clients become aware of their thoughts and emotions without being ruled by them. My style is warm, highly curious, non-judgmental, and collaborative. It is important to me that you feel comfortable, with me, and in my space. I work within a scientific framework. We form a partnership based on trust. I listen as you articulate the life you want to be living and the person you want to become, then step by step, I am your guide. And for the clients who don't know where they want to go or who they want to become, I help you work that out and find your direction + get there. Therapy is hard. And worth it. Let's talk.
