My work as a therapist is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I am dedicated to helping clients reconnect with their values and make choices that bring them closer to leading meaningful lives. I bring a supportive, nonjudgmental presence to my sessions, in addition to a sense of humor and a little creativity. I have a deep passion for cultivating a safe space for exploration and healing to help others navigate life’s challenges. My experience working with trauma and supporting military populations has given me the privilege of holding space for the client who shows up, regardless of where they are in their therapeutic journey. I am honored to collaborate with you on building skills and gaining insights to support you moving forward in the direction you want. My favorite place to be is outside, and I enjoy spending time in my backyard or camping with my teen’s scout troop. As animal lovers, we live with three naughty cats, six indoor aquariums, a fluffy hamster, and the memory of our sweet dog. I view each day as a new opportunity to take another step toward the life I want, and some days that means taking a nap. Thank you for taking the time to read about me! Whichever clinician you choose to work with, I encourage you to keep going because YOU ARE WORTH THE EFFORT.
