I am so glad you have found your way here, and are willing to reach out for help! I currently see individual clients age 18+ who are struggling to cope with a world that is often too much, and not enough at the same time. Do terms like burnout, perfectionism, people-pleasing, anxiety, sensory challenges, and highly sensitive describe parts of your experience? Are you wondering if you might be neurodivergent, i.e. Autistic or ADHD? Are you looking to dive into deep, meaningful long-term work that may lead to increased self-awareness, acceptance, and improved ways of coping, thus allowing you to move through the world with more ease and freedom? Then you and I might work well together! During each session, you and I will work together to co-create a safe space to explore your presenting concerns. I integrate a variety of therapeutic modalities to ensure that we can work together in a way that best supports your unique needs and goals, including Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Humanistic and Existential Psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), Ecotherapy, Experiential/Somatic Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). A little about me: I am passionate about understanding the complexity of what it means to be human, and enjoy exploring the big and small questions that come along with that with my clients and friends. I also love spending time in nature with my non-human kin - my horse Frankie, dog Olive, and all the flora and fauna that is native to the PNW. I have both lived and professional experience surrounding anxiety, burn out, trauma recovery, and creating a life the suits one's unique neurotype. I earned my MA in Counseling Psychology from Bastyr University, Seattle, and received my BA in Ecopsychology & Equine-Guided Education and Therapy from Fairhaven College at Western Washington University. Over the years, I have gained experience working with youth and adults experiencing a wide variety of emotional, relational, and life struggles, in a variety of different treatment settings. I am currently in private practice seeing adult clients via Telehealth all over the state of Washington, and focus primarily on trauma recovery, identity exploration, and coping with life as neurodiverse individuals. I have completed additional trainings in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), Trauma Therapy, and Equity Skills for Clinicians.
