Realizing there are things in your life you want to change, and then taking the deep dive into finding someone to help you make those changes, can be a daunting task. Whether you are a high school or college student, a parent, or someone well into their career, I view working with you as a privilege. Sharing your fears, problems, difficulties, and hopes with someone you don't know yet is a brave and vulnerable act. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I believe it is crucial to look at your life holistically - we do not come out of a vacuum. Your race, sexual orientation, spiritual beliefs, family, neighborhood, school, and work environments all play an important role in what is impacting your life now. As a practicing artist, I value finding beauty and hope in our experiences, as well as listening and observing with an open mind, looking at issues from different perspectives and together crafting creative solutions for what is troubling you.
