I provide guidance for my clients to heal from the impact of stressful or traumatic life circumstances by forming healthy connections with themselves and others. I chose the name of my counseling practice intentionally for this reason. Most aspen trees grow in large clonal colonies, sharing the same root system. I believe that we as humans were wired for connection like the aspen tree. Sometimes our internal or external connections can be stressed, broken, wounded, or vacant. Counseling offers us a place to create healing space so that we can find greater integration with ourselves and others. I have received training in trauma-informed, attachment-based therapy such as EMDR, TBRI and interpersonal neurobiology. These can help the brain form new and more positive neural pathways, which can lead to increased self-regulation, calmer responses to stress, and greater authenticity in relationships. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. I am also a board approved supervisor for LMSW's seeking their advanced clinical licensure. I am delighted to be in private practice and would be honored to work with you. Please do not hesitant to reach out by email or phone to set up a free 20 minute consultation call to see if we would be a great fit to work together.
