These approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Solution-Focused therapy, and somatic techniques. She has the most experience treating depression, generalized anxiety, social anxiety, Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and substance use disorders. Caro specializes in working with the LGBTQ+ community, particularly children of immigrants who want to integrate and process their intersecting identities in order to live a more authentic life. As a queer daughter of Chilean and Argentinian immigrants who is continuously going through the identity integration process herself, she uses her clinical knowledge and lived experiences to create a safe, gentle, and welcoming space to explore these issues. Her therapeutic work is rooted in the values of authenticity, accessibility, and harm reduction.
