Introduction

We search for therapy when we're in the in-between, when we find ourselves stuck in liminal space between where we came from and where we want to be. My name is Caroline Allison (she/her) and I'm a licensed marriage & family therapy associate in Greenville, SC. I work with both individuals and couples who have experienced perinatal loss, are working through life transitions, or are seeking couples therapy to address issues in their relationships. In addressing perinatal loss, I strive to help couples and individuals work through the grief and emotional complexities of this layered loss, acknowledging each person as having their own experience, while also strengthening the ability to communicate individual needs and emotions within their support systems. When addressing life transitions, I hope to help clients find strength and growth in change that can otherwise be daunting. I seek to help individuals & couples integrate new circumstances into their lives, creating space for them to thrive. While working within the context of relationships, I endeavor to help each individual feel heard and find growth by giving them the tools they need to identify their needs and effectively communicate to their partners. I aim to provide a space where couples can create stronger partnerships, integrating deeper understanding of themselves and their partners.
