I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in Hawai’i, with over 7 years experience in social services and mental behavioral health. I have worked with clients with wide ranging experiences including, stress from COVID, parenting concerns, anxiety, depression, PTSD, relationship issues, adjusting to life changes, and low self compassion. I have been a therapist for many people who have experienced sexual, and emotional abuse, child hood trauma, and have worked with many survivors of domestic violence, and women currently experiencing domestic violence. My style is nurturing, warm, non-judgmental, and supportive, with assertiveness. I believe that therapist and client are colleagues, that my clients should play a large role in treatment planning, and know themselves best. I use interventions such as psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, mindfulness, solution focused, rational emotive therapy, and existential therapy. I have 7 years of experience as a yoga teacher, and can offer teachings of those practices into our sessions, such as the mind body connection, breath work, and trauma sensitive movement. I am here to support and empower you in this journey of change, growth, and understanding yourself deeper. I look forward to getting to know you. You never blame the lettuce. " - Thich Nhat Hanh
