I often work with, and welcome, individuals who struggled to find benefit in previous attempts at therapy. I often work with folks struggling to maintain their identity while juggling children and aging parents. Individuals managing a beloved pets illness or loss are also a welcomed part of my practice. I enjoy working with college students to retirees who seek greater understanding of how their moods and behaviors developed, and why their current coping strategies may no longer feel useful. My goal is to help people gain a better sense of self and gain understanding of patterns that get in the way of their ability to live a happy and satisfying life. I work to create a supportive, safe environment where we can unravel inner struggles and explore feelings that may feel too overwhelming or shameful to manage alone.
