Introduction

Carrie Jameson, MA, LCPC, SEP (she/her) is a psychotherapist and Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner in private practice in Chicago, Illinois. She holds a Master’s in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in trauma and is a trained Sex Therapist through the Modern Sex Therapy Institute. Carrie has also completed additional advanced training in Relational Bodywork and Somatic Education (BASE™) and Level 1 of the Dynamic Attachment Repatterning experience (DARe). Her work is rooted in a somatic, body-based approach to healing trauma, with a focus on helping clients uncover and release blocks that prevent them from living fully and authentically. She specializes in working with adults recovering from sexual, relational, and medical trauma, and offers a warm, affirming space for clients navigating issues related to sexuality, identity, and self-worth. Carrie welcomes people of all orientations, identities, and relationship structures, including LGBTQIA+, kink/BDSM communities, and those exploring consensual non-monogamy, polyamory, and other non-traditional relationships. She also provides training for other professionals in these areas. Whether you're working through trauma, seeking deeper connection, or exploring your authentic sexual expression, Carrie supports each client’s unique path toward healing and embodiment.
