I believe that the connection between client and therapist is important. Each individual is unique. I take time to connect with each client and draw from multiple approaches to address your needs and goals. I have extensive experience working with children as a school therapist. I also have strengths working with early, formative trauma and PTSD with adults. Because of this, I work well with individuals, couples and families who are working with early relational harm that continues to effect their current relationships. I feel honored to work with individuals and families in what I consider to be sacred work. I am an empathetic and active therapist. I work from a relational perspective, meaning that I believe we are shaped, wounded and healed in relationship. I work to create a safe, connected and compassionate relationship that allows clients the space to be themselves fully. I have found that following your lead is vitally important. I work with adults, children, adolescents, and families with a warm, nonjudgmental style. I offer mindfulness-based, insight-oriented psychotherapy, and provide parenting support, as needed. Asking for help can be difficult, but is the first step towards an improved life.
