I am at capacity and am not taking new clients at this time. I do not keep a waitlist. Seeking therapy entails vulnerability and courage. I take a non-pathologizing, collaborative approach to therapy and work with individuals to explore their experiences and concerns, tell their stories and personal truth, and develop treatment goals. I see adults and children ages 3-12 and their caregivers. Caregiver involvement is an essential element in child therapy. I specialize in working with women and children with histories of loss, grief, and trauma. In addition, I have lived experience with autoimmune conditions and can offer an empathetic perspective to those who experience such challenges. I utilize a number of therapeutic approaches including CBT, EMDR, Jungian, Collaborative Problem Solving, & Play Therapy. Play is the child's symbolic language & natural medium of expression. Through play therapy, children can express their experiences, feelings, needs, wishes, and perceptions of themselves, others, and the world. While I have a lot of toys, it's not really about the toys. To quote Robert Frost, "The best way out is always through." I feel we could all use the support of therapy sometimes as we journey to better days. Take the time you need and reach out to me to explore engaging in treatment. I offer some evening and Saturday appointments. I am able to bill Healthshare/CareOregon but not other OHP/Medicaid plans. If I am not in-network with your insurance, I am happy to provide you statements so you can seek to be reimbursed for Out of Network benefits. I I also take Oregon Crime Victims coverage.
