I work with individual adults, teens, couples, and families with a variety of goals, often focusing on increasing the ability to manage stress, improve communication, learn new skills and responses, and process traumatic or difficult past life experiences. I tend to think in terms of relationships, patterns, and context. I often ask "what has happened in your life that helps this make sense, and how do you want it to be different?" I care about understanding your point of view, your experience, and your personal goals. I am gentle, but also active and direct. This means I aim to balance being accepting and supportive with also inviting changes that serve your goals and explore with you anything that might get in the way.
