Welcome! I work with adults to heal from childhood trauma, process grief, and navigate the challenges of incarceration—whether personally or through a loved one. My goal is to help you embrace your authentic self and face your pain with compassion and curiosity. Pain from childhood can leave you feeling unworthy, anxious, or disconnected. You don’t have to carry these wounds forever—you deserve peace. In our sessions, we’ll reconnect with your younger self, offering the care and compassion they needed. Using EMDR therapy, we’ll process painful memories so they no longer hold power over you. Grief isn’t just about losing a loved one—it can come from the end of a relationship, job loss, or major life changes. It can feel overwhelming, leaving you stuck in sadness or numbness. Therapy provides a safe, judgment-free space to process your grief. With EMDR, we’ll ease the emotional burden and find a path forward while honoring your loss. Incarceration often stems from deep-rooted trauma and can bring shame and isolation. But these experiences don’t define you. In therapy, we’ll address the trauma at the core of these challenges. EMDR therapy can help release painful memories, rebuild self-worth, and strengthen resilience. I believe in both acceptance and growth—you are valuable as you are, but healing allows you to move closer to your true self. I provide a space where you feel heard and understood while gently encouraging growth. Therapy is a collaborative process, tailored to your needs and pace. I hold a Master’s in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling from Mercer University, focusing on disability and mental health. My clinical experience includes providing therapy at Emory University Hospital, Wesley Woods – an inpatient crisis stabilization unit. In addition to working with adults experiencing severe/persistent mental illness, I'm privileged to now provide trauma counseling to incarcerated women. Seeing clients experience relief from trauma symptoms and healing from deep emotional wounds is incredibly rewarding. It’s one of the greatest honors I could ever have. Healing is possible. Let’s work together—schedule a session today.
