Introduction

I am a clinical psychologist committed to helping you find the peace, joy and meaning you deserve in your life. For 15 years, I have been helping clients better their perceived quality of life. Discovering the benefits of psychotherapy work in my youth, I wanted to offer it to others. Born and raised in Switzerland, I moved to the USA when I was 26 years old. Having always felt a strong love for children, I worked on an inpatient psychiatric unit at Cambridge Hospital in MA for 2 years where I discovered a passion for childhood trauma. My experience there planted the seed for what would become a calling to help clients affected by Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. I went on to earn my doctorate in Psychology in 2004. I have a specific interest in childhood trauma and have expertise in treating depressive and anxiety disorders. Parenting is also an area I hold close to my heart. My approaches in therapy include Mindfulness Based Therapies, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy. I am in the process of gaining more expertise in Trauma Focused Therapy. If we believe we are a good fit to work together, I strongly believe I can help you move towards a calmer, happier and more meaningful life.
