Introduction

I am a childhood trauma therapist committed to helping you find the peace, joy and meaning you deserve in your life. For 20 years, I have been helping clients better their perceived quality of life. Discovering the benefits of psychotherapy work in my youth, I wanted to offer it to others. Born and raised in Switzerland, I moved to the USA when I was 26 years old. Having always known in my gut that our lives are deeply shaped by our childhood, my therapeutic focus is on the inner child that lives within us. I worked on an inpatient psychiatric unit at Cambridge Hospital in MA for 2 years where I discovered a passionate interest for childhood trauma. My experience there planted the seed for what would become a calling to help clients affected by Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. I went on to earn my doctorate in Psychology in 2004. I now specialize in childhood trauma. In addition to working individually with my clients, I facilitate childhood trauma groups based on Amanda Curtin's model Relational Recovery Process which has been popularized on social medial by Patrick Teahan, LICSW. Parenting is also an area I hold close to my heart as it plays such a crucial role in anyone's life. My approach in therapy is trauma focuses and includes the Relational Relationship Process model and body based interventions. If we discover we are a good fit to work together, I strongly believe I can help you move towards a calmer, happier and more meaningful life.
