Introduction

Many people grapple with personal issues, hardships, and challenges, often feeling compelled to keep these struggles private. The instinct to handle everything alone—believing “it’s my issue, my problem”—can be overwhelming. Yet, life can be profoundly different and more manageable when we navigate it in connection with others. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I am deeply passionate about guiding individuals through the healing process. My mission is to help you recognize the significance of building meaningful connections and working through life’s challenges with support. Whether you’re dealing with depression, anxiety, anger management, intrusive thoughts, grief, loss, or self-worth issues, I am here to offer a compassionate and trauma-informed approach. My focus extends to understanding and addressing trauma, including early childhood trauma and acute or complex trauma. I work with clients of all ages—teens, adults, and families—helping them to heal and grow through evidence-based techniques such as: Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT): To address and reframe traumatic experiences. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR): To process and alleviate distress from traumatic memories. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): To challenge and change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors. Mindfulness: To foster awareness and emotional regulation. Solution-Focused Therapy: To identify and build on your strengths and resources. Narrative Therapy: To help you rewrite your story in a way that empowers you. Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI): To support healthy relationships and attachment, particularly in children and teens. I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside individuals and families through some of their most challenging moments. Remember, it’s not about how you start but how you finish. Let’s work together to ensure you finish your journey of healing and growth with strength and resilience.
