Introduction

After working as an bridge engineer for over 20 years, I felt called to help others with their life struggles. As a leader in the church, it bothered me that so many people of faith seemed to be defeated and miserable. This is not the picture that the bible draws of the Christian life! In that moment I felt God calling me into the ministry of counseling where I could be an instrument for Him to lead people to freedom and victory. I work with all ages, but have spent the most time with teenagers around the ages of 13 to 15, and feel like this is a particular demographic to which God has called me. I also enjoy working with men around my age (currently 48!) as I can relate to many of their struggles and have more insight to help them. Ultimately I want to work with whoever God sends my way.
