Introduction

Chad has served families and individuals, both as a minister and a licensed marriage and family therapist for over 30 years. Chad began serving as a minister and pastoral counselor in the Church of the Nazarene in 1991 and received his ordination credentials in 1997. He achieved his Masters of Counseling degree with an emphasis in marriage and family therapy from MidAmerica Nazarene University in 2005. Chad has been a practicing Marriage and Family Therapist since May of 2004 and was licensed by the state of Kansas in August of 2007. Chad is currently a clinically licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in the state of Kansas and a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in the state of Missouri. Chad specializes in working with individuals experiencing grief/loss, depression/anxiety, post-traumatic stress, as well as teaching effective parenting techniques and assisting youth at risk. Chad's strong point is working with couples and families as all members draw from the strengths of others. Chad utilizes family systems therapy as well as various other therapeutic theories and techniques to address the specific needs of each individual person. Chad also accommodates those who desire these approaches from a Christian perspective.
