Starting therapy can be overwhelming and scary, but together, we can work on figuring out where you want to go and remove the roadblocks in the way. I strive to help you find empowerment in your story by understanding how where you've been has led to where you are now. I use the relationship between my client and myself as a laboratory for exploration and development of the self. In my career, I have helped many people address multiple issues from trauma, identity development, relationship concerns, life transitions, college adjustment, depression, anxiety, and grief/loss. I have extensive experience in working with parents, professionals, veterans, university students, as well as international and diverse populations. I draw from a psychodynamic approach that is aimed at understanding where you came from and where you want to go, as well as how you aim to get there. Our first conversation will be a consultation phone call where I begin to understand your goals in therapy. I aim to help increase your self-awareness and learn to cope more effectively with life issues.
