Hi, my name is Chandra Jackson. I have always had a passion for helping others, which inspired me to become a counselor. My journey started as an educator over 9 years ago. I noticed that students and their parents often needed help beyond my role in the classroom—they needed help with personal, emotional, and mental health challenges. Seeing the difference I could make, I chose to pursue counseling in order to better support individuals and families in overcoming these challenges. I earned my M.A. in Mental Health and Wellness Counseling from Angelo State University. While I focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), I tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each client. I work with preteens, adolescents, young adults, and adults. I fully understand the importance of seeking help when needed. Counseling is a powerful way to discover your best self and live a better life. This belief drives my passion for helping others through their struggles. Whether I’m working with individuals or families, my goal is to offer support and guidance in a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space.
