I am a bilingual (Engligh and Spanish) Associate Clinical Social Worker who specializes in working with immigrants, veterans, and LGBTQA+ folks. I have experience working with teens, transitional aged youths (TAY), and adults with diagnoses such as depression, anxiety, and PTSD as well as those who have experienced acute traumas such as homelessness and intimate partner violence. I received my Master’s degree in social work from the University of Southern California and my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UC Santa Cruz. My aim as a therapist is to aid my clients in strengthening their self-acceptance and increasing their coping skills through the use of evidence-based practices such as CBT and DBT. I believe in providing my clients with judgement-free understanding and unconditional empathy as they identify their truths and strive towards being their authentic selves.
