Life is complex, full of twists and turns—sometimes joyful, sometimes nerve-wracking, and often a mix of everything in between. I know this journey well, and I've come to see that each of us is a work in progress. Our struggles and challenges don’t define us; instead, it’s how we grow, heal, and let go of the past that shapes who we are. This love for life’s transformative moments, for the strength we find through our experiences, is what led me to social work. Born and raised in the Caribbean, I’m a Black immigrant woman who believes deeply in helping people discover their true strength and potential, no matter what life has thrown their way. I’m passionate about supporting others as they live their truth and embrace their most authentic selves, unapologetically. I am dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive space for people of color, neurodiversity and the LGBTQ+ community, where everyone can explore, heal, and thrive as they become the person they’re truly meant to be. Having navigated my own journey as a Black immigrant, I bring a unique perspective on the complex experiences that shape our lives— cultural transitions, major life transitions, intergenerational differences and the weight of systemic challenges. I know the resilience it takes to navigate life’s ups and downs, and I understand the importance of having a space where you feel truly seen, heard, and valued. In my practice, I offer a warm, nonjudgmental environment where clients can explore their stories, honor their identities, and heal from trauma. My approach is rooted in empathy and cultural awareness, so we can work through experiences with a deep respect for each person’s unique background. I’m here to help you connect with your inner strength, embrace who you are, and move toward healing and growth that feels true to you.
