Your narrative consists of a past, present and future, but the life you are living is happening in this moment. I enjoy working with individuals, families, and couples that are trying to rediscover themselves in a more authentic way. I am dedicated to providing a safe and calming environment to help individuals explore their needs in hopes to find healing and wellness. My goal is to help people live a more purposeful life. My approach to therapy is guided by empathy, understanding, and empowerment. I view therapy as encouraging people to view their life as changeable by their situation, in which they can identify realistic steps that promotes positive change and well-being. Coming into therapy is a journey towards self-discovery, healing and building life-long skills. Specialization: My training spans across a variety of mental health concerns, such as addictions, anxiety, depression, impulse-control, ADHD, intellectual/developmental disabilities. I utilize a strength based approach of integrating a variety of modalities including: Person/Client Centered, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Behavioral Therapy – in particular behavior modification and Rational-Emotive Behavioral Therapy, Anger Management, Internal Family Systems, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, and Mindfulness.
