Introduction

Becoming a parent is one of the most profound transitions you will ever experience. While it’s often full of joy, it can also bring a wave of challenges—emotionally, mentally, and relationally. Whether you are preparing for pregnancy, navigating the postpartum period, or adjusting to life with a new baby, you don’t have to face these changes alone. I’m a licensed therapist specializing in supporting individuals and families during the unique and sometimes overwhelming journey of parenthood. I offer therapy for new and expecting parents experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship stress, trauma, and other challenges associated with pregnancy and the early years of parenting. I provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you can feel heard, supported, and empowered to work through the challenges you face. I offer both virtual and in-person therapy sessions to accommodate your schedule and needs. Whether you're at home with a newborn or navigating the demands of pregnancy, I make therapy accessible and convenient for you. In addition to individual therapy, I also offer a Postpartum Planning Session, which is a 90-minute session designed to help new parents prepare for the emotional and practical challenges of the postpartum period. I will work with you to create a personalized plan that addresses your specific needs, concerns, and expectations. This session includes support for you and your partner (or support person) as you explore topics such as managing stress, understanding postpartum mood changes, building support systems, and balancing self-care with caregiving. You’ll leave with practical tools, strategies, and a sense of readiness for the transition into parenthood, whether it's your first child or you're adjusting to a growing family.
