Hi! I'm so glad you're here. I graduated from The Ohio State University in 2017 with a Bachelor's in Social Work. My early career was dedicated to supporting young children and their families, working with organizations such as Nationwide Children's Hospital and Head Start. During that time, I assisted families with essential services including housing, coping skills, parenting education, food and transportation resources, medical support, and rehabilitation. After several years in the social work field, I pursued my graduate studies at Ashland Theological Seminary and earned my degree with honors in 2023. Following this, I transitioned into counseling, initially working as a school counselor with teenagers before moving into full-time mental health counseling for adults. I am passionate about helping individuals navigate life's challenges, especially young adults and adults dealing with core beliefs, anxiety, depression, work and relationship stressors, and grief. I draw from a person-centered approach, prioritizing empathy and client empowerment, and offer faith-based counseling when it aligns with my clients' needs and values. I would love to explore whether we’d be a great team, working together to create a path toward growth, healing, and well-being.
