I am so glad that you are here! Taking the first steps towards change and growth can be so intimidating. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I am devoted to meeting my clients wherever they are in life and helping guide clients towards a life they envision. Throughout my clinical experience, I have worked with a variety of different challenges including eating disorders, substance use disorders, relationship issues, trauma and attachment wounds, and mood disorders. I have worked with clients at all stages of life and stages of readiness for change. Taking the leap to begin therapy and ultimately healing can be overwhelming. I am honored to work with clients who may or may not feel quite ready to make difficult steps towards understanding oneself or make difficult changes. I believe strongly in the power of connection and relationships as a catalyst for healing and growth. I understands that everyone has a unique experience and understand themselves more fully than I ever could. I believe in the dignity and worth of every individual regardless of one's past or current situation. I aim to provide competent and compassionate services in a trauma-informed environment. Typically, a variety of treatment modalities are utilized to help my clients meet therapy goals and I work with the client to identify what may be most helpful for them. My therapeutic approach is rooted in the fundamentals of self-compassion, mindfulness and overall helping clients become more curious about one's present-moment experience. Some common modalities utilized are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). If you are unsure about reaching out for support, I encourage you to contact me to simply get more information. If you are absolutely ready to begin the journey to a better understanding of yourself or one who is still unsure about what the process entails, I would love to talk to you. My hope is that we work together to guide you towards hope and healing!
