Introduction

The Center for CBT & Mindfulness, centrally located in North County San Diego, was founded in 2019 by Chelsie Giambrone after spending over 10 years in the mental health and social services fields, serving patients of all ages, backgrounds and in all treatment settings. Not all mental health care is created equal. Our treatment is rooted in the gold standard of care - Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and a few guiding principles: Evidence-Based Treatment. We provide treatment that works. We know these treatments are effective because they've been evaluated through rigorous Randomized Control Trials. We have been trained in these approaches by experts in the field. Time-Limited Treatment. Therapy doesn't have to last forever. In fact, it shouldn't. You'll get the results you want and be on your way. Most patients make significant treatment progress in a few short months. Cost-Effective. Affordable care for all, regardless of socioeconomic status. We accept commercial insurance and provide sliding fee options to help ensure everyone has access to quality care. Change. We will plan, problem solve and, most importantly DO. Good therapy involves hard work, and as a result, you will achieve what you came here to do. Collaborative. You know you best. As such, we will help you figure out what is best for you, your family and your life. With us, you can count on a collaborative and dynamic relationship built on trust. You're expected to be an active participant in the treatment process. CA LCSW #70538 & OH LISW-S #I.1302991
