I am an openly autistic provider and a practicing survivor of PTSD who has personally experienced incarceration and trafficking. Having processed my own trauma through years of EMDR, it is my sincere desire to educate as many people as possible, especially those in the helping professions, about trauma and its impact on the brain. My focus is on assisting individuals in identifying unresolved past traumas and making connections to how these experiences affect present-day functioning and relationships with self and others. Through reprocessing these events, maladaptive patterns of behavior diminish, enabling clients to discover new and healthy ways of coping. My approach is trauma-informed and integrative, helping clients make sense of what happened to them, understand its impact, and use these experiences as a foundation for post-traumatic growth.
