Introduction

Relationships are built on trust, and the therapeutic relationship is no different. It’s important you feel heard and understood for therapy to be successful. My practice has a special commitment to nurturing the inherent strengths and confidence in a person to change distressing patterns and facilitate growth. Some sessions I will actively listen in, others I will take the lead, but my goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space for us to work collaboratively. By exploring unresolved feelings and patterns, I will guide you and teach you on how to heal from past losses, traumas, and/or anticipatory anxiety to live a more authentic life now. I will listen and ask questions to get to know your specific symptoms, life circumstances, strengths, and goals. This information will help me select and tailor treatment specifically to your needs. I’m trained in various evidence-based treatments and integrate a holistic approach guiding clients to make choices that align best with their goals. Depending on the type of treatment goals you have and/or our identified therapy intervention, we’ll work through it together to make sure treatment is tailored to your goals. I’m engaged, curious, compassionate, and humorous. I’ve been described as warm and practical with a calming presence. Most times, I sit back and bear witness to what’s unfolding in front of me. I will meet you with genuine authenticity to help you show up as your real self. I go at your pace, gently yet firmly. We will explore how your past experiences have shaped who you are and how you relate to others. There is no right or wrong way to be in therapy as long as you show up as yourself. I can help you unravel new insights and coach you where you would like to be. I look forward to the privilege of working with you in therapy.
