Introduction

When you experience trauma or severe life stressors, it is not uncommon for life to unravel. I have a passion to partner with people to bring healing to those who have been through traumatic and stressful experiences. I build a therapeutic relationship with my clients that include children, teens, adults, couples and families to acquire skills that enhance the ability to cope, facilitate behavioral changes, improve communication skills and enhance effectiveness in the ability to cope. My education includes a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Criminal Justice and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Southern University at New Orleans. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Board Approved Clinical Supervisor. I have additional training in trauma and grief and hold certifications as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and a Certified Grief Counseling Specialist (CGCS). In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, walking and cooking. Also, I am licensed to see clients in Louisiana and Texas. My approach is person-centered, strength-based and solution focused. Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness techniques, I help you reach your ideal self. I offer both in person and telehealth sessions, according to your needs. I look forward to partnering with you in your journey to health and wholeness. Together we will work to alleviate feelings of depression, anxiety, grief and anything that may be weighing on your heart and mind.
