Hello, I’m Chloe! I am a pre-licensed clinician working towards my LPCC license. I have a BS in Kinesiology from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, and a MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. I believe in being person-centered, and meeting clients where they are. When working with me, we will work on treatment goals and plans together, and you will be able to work on what is important to you. I use Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) most often, but I will tailor my approach to you and what you need specifically. I will use spirituality in treatment if that is something you desire. I am also passionate about using creativity in treatment, specifically incorporating dance and movement or art. I plan on eventually getting licensed as a dance and movement therapist. I work with individuals experiencing mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma, suicidal ideation, co-occurring disorders/substance use disorders, neurodivergence (ADHD and autism), and perinatal disorders. I prefer to work with teenagers and young adults, but I will work with anyone 8 years and up. I have worked in the field for several years with experience in residential treatment facilities (IRTS), substance use disorder and co-occurring disorder treatment, adolescent day treatment for neurodiverse individuals, group homes, CTSS facilities, and outpatient clinics. I have experience in group therapy, individual therapy, and family therapy. I love to spend time with my three kids when I’m not at work. Currently during the daytime I stay home with them. I love to sing, dance, read, and watch a lot of movies in my free time. I also have a part time job as a dance teacher at the studio I grew up dancing at, and love that I share that hobby with my entire family now!
