Chris is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who has 15 years experience working in a variety of mental health settings including a university counseling center, community agency and a faith based counseling center. He earned his Masters of Science in Clinical Psychology from Vanguard University of Southern California and his Bachelor of Arts in Religion with a minor in Psychology all from Vanguard University. Chris employs an integrative approach working with each client through struggles such as adjustment to life changes, depression, anxiety, behavioral issues, relationship troubles and significant impairment caused by mental illness. Chris has been trained in Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) and Trauma focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) treatments, in addition to employing client centered and cognitive behavioral methods to provide a safe and trusting environment. He serves adults, couples, children, adolescents, and families in a journey to deepen their knowledge of self and each other. He is a member of the American Counseling Association and the American Association of Christian Counselors. In his free time, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife and two children as well as being out and about in the beautiful Ozarks.
