I counsel positive coping and adaptation to grief and loss, as well as other transitions such as: divorce, job loss, and health issues. I specialize in gerontology and hospice care and have worked with older adults and their caregivers in the health field since 2006. My current license is an associate level and I am practicing under clinical supervision. Feel free to ask for my supervisor’s contact information. I have a trauma-informed and strengths-based approach. I use an anti-racist intersectional frame. My clinical focus includes working with people who identify as LGBTQIA+. I identify as Queer and celebrate the resilience that can be found in overcoming adversity through community and connection. I've worked with LGBTQIA+ Veterans at the Seattle VA. I advocate for healthcare equity for Transgender Veterans and people who are gender non-conforming. Empathy and compassion guide my practice. I believe that while everyone is doing their best to overcome difficulty in their lives, we all could use help along the way. Asking for help can be hard. I am honored that you are willing to begin building a therapeutic relationship with me. Thank you for considering working with me to support your mental health and wellness. I am currently accepting new patients and have availability for scheduling appointments weekday evenings.
