Welcome Beloved! Counseling services are a major decision and I am thankful that you have chosen to be here. My name is Christi Barnes and I am an LPC- EMDR trained Counselor. I received my Bachelor of Child, Adolescence, Family Studies degree August 2018 from California State University of Bakersfield and my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Palo Alto University. My experience outside of psychotherapy includes school counseling, college and career advising, and international/domestic social work and foster/adoption. Clients, students, and mentees have described me as a compassionate and straightforward professional. I strive to be a caring ear, understanding heart, and respectful to each person’s background in counseling relationships. I seek to empower individuals to reach personal goals, gain insight, heal and/or improve life quality and heal mentally and emotionally.
