Continuing her journey, she obtained a Master of Education degree with a concentration in Mental Health Counseling and a specialization in geriatrics from Cambridge College. Dedicated to facilitating positive change, Christina utilizes a blend of humor and person-centered therapy to support clients in navigating contemporary challenges. Emphasizing empowerment, she encourages individuals to craft their own narratives and envision the lives they aspire to lead, fostering a judgment-free environment throughout the therapeutic process. Proficient in addressing a spectrum of concerns, Christina holds trauma certification and possesses expertise in treating various diagnoses, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, and neurodiversity. Her clientele spans across diverse age groups, encompassing children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. In her therapeutic approach, Christina employs evidence-based strategies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. While maintaining a professional demeanor, Christina also integrates humor when appropriate, recognizing the importance of cultivating a comfortable and personalized therapeutic alliance. Committed to individualized care, Christina believes in the importance of collaborative treatment planning, emphasizing that there is no one-size-fits-all approach.
