Introduction

I help high achievers who struggle with burnout and anxiety. Sometimes we think that if we achieve more, give more, or adapt more, we will be happy and fulfilled. Instead, we can end up feeling stressed out, trapped, and pulled in different directions. Therapy provides a unique space for people to explore freely who they are, outside of others’ demands or expectations. In this space, people can question, challenge, and restructure ways of thinking and being and identify their own needs and desires. In the past several years, I have worked with individuals who were able to examine and change their approach towards life and to come to a place of greater authenticity and contentment. Clients were able to explore the links between the past and present and to reduce habits that kept them stuck in unhealthy relationships or environments. In therapy, I provide a flexible approach that allows the client to bring in themes or thoughts that we can then explore. While I can provide practical, concrete skills, such as boundary setting and communication skills, the main focus of the work is to deepen one’s understanding of themselves. Through this understanding, clients can then decide to continue or change their ways of thinking and relating. If my approach resonates with you, please book a free 15-20 minute phone consultation by sending me a message (under the More Information section) or calling me directly at 617-231-9491. In this consultation, we can talk about what you would like to work on and about possible next steps.
