Introduction

I specialize in working with adults who are dealing with anxiety/depression, life transitions/changes, relationship difficulties, stress management, grief/loss, gender identity, sexuality, LGBT+ issues, and trauma. I am very comfortable helping people navigate complicated medical issues, having worked as a Hospice social worker for many years. I have specific interest helping people find purpose and meaning in their lives, particularly those who are questioning/leaving their faith or have experienced religious abuse/trauma. My counseling style is client centered and compassion-based. I draw from many theoretical frameworks based on the needs of my clients. I strive to provide a safe, supportive, non-judgmental space where my clients can be their authentic selves and work through whatever challenges they are experiencing. I believe that people are capable of growth and change at any age despite the challenges and traumas they have experienced. I love helping people grow into the best versions of themselves and watching them reach their full potential. I look forward to meeting you and being part of your healing journey.
