Hello! I am Christy Huang, a dedicated and experienced trauma psychotherapist and sex therapist. I am deeply committed to supporting individuals in their journey towards healing, empowerment, and holistic well-being. I offer a safe and compassionate space for individuals to process their trauma, restore their emotional well-being, and nurture healthy intimate relationships. As a trauma psychotherapist, I specialize in helping individuals navigate the complex and often debilitating effects of trauma. My expertise encompasses post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, dissociative disorders, anxiety, depression, and self-esteem issues that frequently emerge in the aftermath of traumatic experiences. I employ evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), somatic approaches, clinical hypnosis and trauma-focused techniques, to support my clients in their healing process. I also utilized Play Therapy, Sand Therapy and Expressive Art Therapy to assist child/adolescents in addressing their behavioral and emotional concerns and issues. Additionally, as a sex therapist, I specialize in addressing the complex interplay between trauma and sexuality. I have expertise in working with individuals and couples who have experienced sexual trauma, helping them navigate the impact on their sexual functioning, intimacy, and relationships. I address a range of concerns, including sexual aversion, dyspareunia, vaginismus, erectile dysfunction, low desire, and difficulties with sexual communication etc. Through a holistic and compassionate approach, I guide clients in reclaiming their sexual selves, fostering healthy relationships, and enhancing sexual well-being. My philosophy centers on the belief in the innate capacity for healing and growth within each individual.
