Introduction

I am so thankful for your interest in my services, seeking help, and being open to change. I am a Marriage & Family Therapy Associate (A46), under direct supervision of Tara Tate, LMFT (L492). I chose to work in the field of Marriage and Family Therapy due to the high divorce rate in my area. Most divorces stem from poor communicatin skills and the inability to see life from a different perspective than our own. We are now, too scared to even marry, choosing to pretend to be married. We do this so we can leave if we are hurt, without the cost and stigma of divorce. Once hurt, we tend to get lost in the maze of emotion, compounding our hurts. Our words are sharper than any two edge sword, sometimes cutting through the hearts and souls of those we love. Let's give our relationships one more chance to mend, heal, then actually grow. Some hurts can actually produce a stronger and healthier marriage than ever thought possible. I also do anger management, anxiety and stress management, and work extensively with AD/HD management in the adult population.
