I am passionate about supporting people in their healing journey. Through life’s challenges and circumstances, we adapt and develop strategies that help us cope and meet our needs. These protective strategies make sense and are successful until they no longer support us in a way that is helpful. Pain and trauma may continue to keep us stuck in patterns or limit us to certain roles that are not a true reflection of all of who we are. Therapy provides you the opportunity and space to delve deeper into understanding all aspects of yourself. My approach to therapy is through establishing a relationship of safety, appreciation, curiosity, and compassion. I work with individuals who are experiencing a variety of challenges including anxiety, stress, depression, loneliness, inner conflict, and relational struggles. My specialties Include life transitions, chronic pain/illness, shame and trauma. The healing journey looks different for everyone, so I pull from a variety of modalities including Internal Family Systems (IFS) or “parts work”, mindfulness, Brainspotting, and somatics. I take a holistic and collaborative approach, incorporating the mind, body, and spirit connection. We are not just our thoughts or feelings, but so much more.
