Introduction
Welcome to my practice. I grew up in Silicon Valley which has given me perspective on the challenges of living in this unique area. After graduating from Santa Clara University I attended California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, a private psychology institute integrating psychological theory with eastern philosophy. I graduate in 1999 with a degree in Integral Counseling Psychology. Following this I obtained a doctorate in Organizational/Industrial Psychology from Capella University focusing my research on job satisfaction and differentiation of self. Throughout my career I've continued to enhance my skills through ongoing courses and certifications as a Clinical Trauma Specialist in Individual, Family and Child and Victims of Trafficking. My practice background has included work in the non-profit, private and government sectors. This included working in the community mental health field, substance abuse treatment programs and care management. I have also had the opportunity to contribute to legislation that changed the way that mental health services are delivered. Following 10 years of private practice in the in the bay area I transitioned to telehealth during the pandemic. My goal is to provide high quality services that allow you to feel comfortable in the location of your choice with the same impact and feel as in an office setting.
