Hello! My name is Claudia. I work primarily with adults of all providing individual, group and couples counseling by using a combination of mind-body, cognitive-behavioral and eclectic approaches to treating such conditions such as depression, anxiety, mood and personality disorders. Beyond that, many of my clients are seeking assistance in managing life’s challenges, such as grief, loss and emotional upheaval. Over the 30 years of being in practice, I have developed an expertise in helping individuals, couples and families navigate the complexities of family building, both expected and unexpected. As the Director of Psychological Services for 22 years at the Institute for Reproductive Medicine and Science at Saint Barnabas , an Active member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, I have worked with many individuals and couples navigate the challenges of infertility, fertility preservation, pregnancy and pregnancy loss and the struggles of new mothering. As a recognized authority on the psychological and social aspects of reproduction, I also conduct recipient and intended parent psycho-social consultations and evaluations for egg, sperm, embryo donors and gestational carriers. One thing I have seen throughout my career is that life is not a straight line. It is often filled with “curve balls” that can leave you feeling worried, overwhelmed, stressed and uncertain. As a psychologist, I draw from many years of experience and training to help navigate these curve balls. We will work together to develop the skills you need to reclaim balance in your life. I look forward to helping you on your journey. Feel free to contact me to discuss working together.
