Hello and welcome! My name is Claudia, I’m passionate about helping others. I earned my master’s degree in social work at University of Southern California Suzanne Dworak School of Social Work and earned my Bachelor’s degree of Science with a major in psychology and a minor in business administration at Western Oregon University. I have experience working with people from different backgrounds and different settings, helping me better understand and support children and parents struggling with different mental health issues. My biggest focus has been working with children who struggle with acute mental health issues and helping parents and children to find skills to better support one another. My own experience as a person of color and second generation immigrant can help me understand challenges and I can bring my own experience to help you grow. In my practice, I use Solution Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness
