It’s one of my greatest passions, helping people find freedom from the thoughts, behaviors, cultural and societal norms that have weighed heavy for so long. The “shoulds”, the timelines, the values that don't actually belong to you, yet you've carried around for years. Maybe you've been in a long-term relationship and are finding it hard to connect with one another— sex has become a casualty of time, grind culture, managing life expectations and/or resentments. Maybe you're looking to rebuild your relationship after an affair or other destabilizing event. It could also mean you're looking for freedom to express your erotic self, to fully embrace and explore what pleasure means to you. Maybe this means you’re exploring your sexual identity, your relationship dynamics, boundaries around pleasure that have been set for you, not by you. Or, you’re working to deconstruct diet culture to find freedom in your body without shame, or it could be that you're questioning if monogamy is right for you or if you actually want to have kids. Let's figure this out together; to find liberation from all that binds you in place and holds you back from living in your authentic self. My style can be described as compassionate, relational and direct. Vulnerability and openness are values I hold in high regard and I model this by showing up authentically in the therapy room. I ask questions to help deepen understanding and prompt exploration of self and partners. I work from a queer affirming, anti-oppressive, anti-racism and health at every size (HAES) lens. My learning and growth in this area is always evolving. My clinical interests include working with individuals and couples who are looking to improve their relationship, communication and sex life; working with the ethically non-monogamous, the LGBTQ+ and kink communities, the neurodivergent folx, and clients who genuinely would love to experience more pleasure and satisfaction in their lives and relationships. I earned my Master of Science (MS) in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University and have been a therapist for the better part of a decade. I have additional specialized training in sex therapy, couples therapy, affair recovery, trauma therapy and working with ADHD and Autism. In my free time I enjoy traveling, spending time with my pets and partners, and indulging in whatever hyperfocus hobby of the minute my own ADHD allows.
