Corinne is a California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist LMFT 149100. She holds a Master of Arts in Couples and Family Therapy and a Bachelor of Arts in Outdoor Adventure Leadership and Entrepreneurship. Corinne’s therapeutic process combines Collaborative and Attachment-Based perspectives to evaluate how childhood relational patterns impact your mental health today. She believes that addressing relational patterns helps to build self-advocacy and resilience. She has extensive experience working with diverse and underserved populations, gang-involved youth and families, pre-probation and probationary individuals, and clients with system-related trauma. NATURE THERAPIST With over 7 years of experience as a backpacking guide and wilderness EMT, Corinne brings her passion for the wilderness to her outdoor therapy sessions. Wild spaces often mirror internal struggles and bring out new perspectives while you practice coping in uncertain environments. These sessions may look like walk-and-talk therapy along the California coast or adventure therapy among the redwoods. Bring water, sun protection, and a sense of adventure to these sessions! TRAUMA THERAPY & PTSD In addition to wild spaces, Corinne’s passion is working with individuals who have experienced trauma & PTSD. More specifically, Corinne works with adults who have experienced generational and developmental trauma. Recently, she has invested time into developing more robust care protocols for neurodivergent women and the trauma and grief associated with delayed diagnosis (diagnosis after age 30). EMDR THERAPIST Corinne is an EMDRIA-trained therapist in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). EMDR’s three-pronged approach addresses trauma responses of the past, the present, and the future. EMDR sessions typically begin with resourcing skills and build upon your brain’s intuitive, healing nature. Corinne’s approach to treatment rests squarely on the assumption that the therapeutic relationship is the foundation of therapeutic change. A therapist should be authentic, present, and supportive of your goals and hopes for the future. Her greatest desire is that clients leave their time in therapy feeling supported, worthy, and resourced; able to take on life's ups and downs.
