Introduction

I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor associate who believes in the importance of using compassion and empathy to help you face personal challenges. Rather than trying to just get rid of unwanted symptoms and make surface behavior change, I can help you create new, more positive ways of thinking, being, and relating to yourself and others. Undesirable behavior often makes “sense” as a coping skill for reducing stress or discomfort. Yet getting to the root causes of your distress can be more effective at managing it, processing it, and promoting longer-lasting change. Together we can work collaboratively to formulate personal objectives that will help you reach your long term goals. I have worked with adolescents, adults, and couples on challenges such as anxiety, depression, negative self-esteem and self-image, assertiveness, interpersonal boundaries, grief and loss, chronic illness, and relational and life adjustment issues. Together we can discover new insights that lead to new patterns of thinking, feeling, and acting in healthier, more effective ways. I am committed to promoting a safe, confidential space for you to explore vulnerable topics without judgement. I currently see clients on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at my practice in Goshen, Indiana. Shoot me an email if you would like me to send a list of specific current openings. Finding a therapist that you are personally comfortable with is the most important factor. I would be happy to speak with you during a free 15-minute phone consultation to see if I might be the right fit for you. Feel free to contact me whether through a call, text, or email.
