Introduction

Great to meet you! I am Shuantia Barber. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Addiction Counselor. I received my masters degree from USC. As a therapist, I help create a safe, comfortable, supportive space that allows my clients to process life’s challenges and work towards growth, healing, and becoming the best version of themselves. A bit about my approach to therapy: My style of communicating is honest, direct, and based on the integration of techniques and collaboration. I create an environment of safety and openness. This allows room to build rapport in a way that comforts clients as they explore new behaviors and core values; that assist in creating a new version of themselves. I specialize in helping client who suffer in silence; by assisting them with navigating through life transitions, relationship challenges, anxiety, and depression. What you can expect from our first session: I integrate different approaches with an emphasis on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Clients can expect for me to provide them with the tools, knowledge, resources, time, and space to help them change their lives for the better and receive lasting results. *I'm providing Telehealth Sessions Only at this time*
