As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I take a whole-person, integrative approach to therapy. I work collaboratively with individuals, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds with various mental, emotional, behavioral, and relational difficulties. Clients will be empowered, nurtured, and supported as they become self-determining in making changes that promote growth, healing, health, and wellness. You will find that I am a nurturing, honest, and easy-to-talk-to person. I’m trained in various evidence-based therapeutic practices, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused approaches, grief therapy, humanistic approaches, solution-focused therapy, psychodynamic approaches, family system approaches, and emotion-focused therapy. Through a safe, empathetic, and culturally-sensitive therapeutic environment, you will grow through self-exploration as you gain insight, understanding, and deeper knowledge of yourself and the patterns that hinder your quality of life. You will learn how to rediscover, utilize, and build upon your own internal strengths so you can address life’s challenges with confidence. You will learn skills and strategies to address challenging thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, make healthier decisions, and strengthen healthy communication and relational patterns. Collaboratively, we will work together so you can create and embrace a healthy, meaningful, and fulfilling life.
