Whether your sleep has never been what you want or has changed more recently, I can teach you evidence-based skills to improve and manage sleep long-term (no meds needed!). I also provide general psychotherapy for concerns like anxiety, depression, and trauma. I practice from an eclectic orientation and enjoy using interventions from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness. Sleep is magical, and I want to bring that magic back for my clients who have a tense relationship with sleep. Behavioral Sleep Medicine treatments use cognitive and behavioral approaches to improve sleep quality and increase sleep quantity. It doesn't include prescribing medication, though medications for sleep can be used with behavioral treatments.
