Before becoming a therapist, I served eight years in the U.S. Marine Corps and later worked as a criminal investigator specializing in child welfare and forensic interviewing. My extensive experience in high-stress environments has shaped my ability to support individuals through trauma, identity challenges, and life transitions. As a mother and neurodiversity advocate, I am passionate about helping individuals and families navigate ADHD, blended family dynamics, and co-parenting struggles. Outside of therapy, I enjoy reading, volunteering, building LEGO creations with her children, and supporting her children's achievements in competitive swimming and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. When working together, you can expect a compassionate, structured, and goal-oriented approach tailored to your unique needs. I blend evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, and trauma-focused interventions to help you navigate challenges related to ADHD, anxiety, trauma, and life transitions. With a background in military service, criminal investigation, and mental health counseling, I incorporate a unique perspective to therapy. I recognize resilience, identity struggles, and the complexities of overcoming adversity. Whether you're managing ADHD, coping with anxiety, working through trauma, or adjusting to life transitions, I provides a safe, structured, and affirming space to help you gain clarity and confidence in your journey. I work with adults of all ages, children (ages 6+), adolescents, and families who need support with neurodiversity, anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, and major life changes. My experience includes working with veterans, first responders, LGBTQ+ individuals, divorced and blended families, and those healing from toxic relationships. If you are looking for an experienced, empathetic, and results-driven therapist, I am here to help you move forward.
